I now have 5 new foothill landscape paintings up on my Daily Paintworks Gallery.  These are from a series of paintings I did from scenes in the California foothills east of Modesto and up toward Sonora.  All the seasons are shown here.

are these two floral paintings.

"Mums" was painted from my mums which decided to bloom.  They were very pretty white until the frost hit them and the tips of each petal turned pale purple.  They were a challenge to paint, but I enjoyed painting them very much.








This painting was painted at my local nursery.  What a fun place to paint!  So many nooks and crannies filled with interesting things to look at.  This birdbath was tucked into one corner and so I set up my easel and painted away.  I really liked the clay bird perched on the edge of the birdbath.

Carmel Mission Note Cards on DPW Gallery Store

 I just added this set of note  cards to my 
Daily Paintworks Gallery Store.  All painted at the Carmel Mission in Carmel, CA.

This is one of my all time favorite places to paint.  There are so many scenes, this place could keep me painting for a life time.  Lovely gardens, sculpture, old adobe buildings, fountains, and so much more.

New Gallery on Daily Paintworks

I am so pleased to announce that I now have my own gallery on DailyPaintworks.com  I am just starting so have only a few painting up right now, but planning more soon.  Just put up some note cards for sale and have a painting in the auction.  So hopeful for more sales and exposure.  And check out the new widget on the right!  Links right to my DPW gallery.
